OSHA 29 CFR 1910-144(a) offers recommended safety code designations for aisle marking tape colors:

• GREEN - Safety equipmentdesignation such as eye wash stations, finre extinguishers and spillage showers.
• RED - Danger such as electrical panels and fire protection and containers of flammable liquids.
• YELLOW - External Areas such as aisle ways and cell area divisions.
• WHITE - Internal Objects such as machines, benches, incoming racks, jigs and carts.
• ORANGE - Caution for parts of machinery or energized equipment.
• BLUE - Warning against starting equipment under repair.
